メルマガは電子書籍ビジネスのなかで一番の優等生だと思ってます。なぜかというと、まず月額が840円。これは本でいったら新書の値段ですよ。新書って印税率がだいたい10％です。すると取り分は84円。でもメルマガの場合はむしろ発行システム側がだいたい20％、30％になっています。それを考えると、メルマガが1万部出てたら、書籍に直せば実質10万部出ているのと同じ規模なんです。さらにそれが毎月入ってくる。これは毎月新書が10万部ずつ売れて、つまり年間では100万部出てるのと同じことです。1万人に840円で売れるということは、新書が毎年ベストセラーでミリオンセラーになるということ。ものすごいことだと思いませんか。
